Redknapp spoke outside Southwark Crown Court where he thanked his family, the Tottenham fans and his legal team for their support and helping him come through the investigation.
Rednapp stated (BBC News), “it was a situation that should never have come to court.
“The support at the Wigan game was the most moving I’ve ever felt, for me personally to have them singing my name while this was all going on, that will always be special to me.
“It’s been a nightmare that has lasted five years. I’m looking forward to going home and getting on with my life.”
It is still thought that Redknapp will take charge of the England national team in the near future, while bookmakers have stopped taking bets.
Milan Mandaric, who is chairman of Sheffield Wednesday, embraced Harry Redknapp as the verdict was read out.
Mandaric also added, “I have to try and pinch myself and wake up from this horrible dream.”
