da casino: Celtic attacker Moussa Dembele remains on Arsenal’s transfer wishlist ahead of the January transfer window, according to La Provence.
What’s the word?
da betano casino: Manager Unai Emery recruited five new players in the summer, but none of them were brought in to strengthen the attacking department.
There were calls for the North London outfit to buy a winger who possessed speed and the ability to score.
Emery failed to bring in a wide man, but it seems that a centre-forward that Arsenal were keen on in 2017 remains on the club’s wishlist.
According to La Provence, Celtic striker Dembele is the man in question, but French outfit Marseille are also believed to be interested and could complete a deal before the end of next week as their transfer window is still open.
Is Dembele what Arsenal need?
There may have been a few concerns among the Gunners’ following after witnessing defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea.
However, the North London outfit picked up their first win on Saturday in the form of a 3-1 triumph over West Ham United.
Scoring goals has never been an issue for Arsenal, so signing a striker in January should not be the main priority.
However, if the opportunity arises to land Dembele, who has scored 51 goals since he joined Celtic in 2016 from Fulham, it would be difficult to turn down.
Depending on how Arsenal are doing at the time, signing a player of Dembele’s quality could be the difference between making top four or missing out.
